At the orchard we will discuss how apples are produced, from the tree to your table, and take a wagon ride around the orchard. We will hear some Johnny Appleseed tales, and tour the grading rooms and cider mills.

Located on McCarter Hollow Road, just past Dollywood, Parrot Mountain is an exciting place to get up close and personal with parrots, lorikeets, cockatiels, and even toucans! Parrot Mountain has been featured on “19 Kids and Counting” and is a great family destination. Make plans now to join us on October 4th! Other fieldtrips have included; Ijams Nature Center, Parrot Mountain, Corn Maze, WonderWorks, and many more. We are currently looking for Field Trip Coordinators to help plan more fun events. If you would like to help coordinate field trips in your area, contact Jason. We are currently booking field trips for the 2010-2011 school year. If you have a suggestion for a trip, or have visited somewhere and think it would benefit others, let us know! |
