| Step back in time to old Appalachia at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris. The museum is a "living" history museum with historic cabins, buildings, a church, and many artifacts of pioneer life. As part of our visit we will get the opportunity to make mountain music with old-time mountain instruments. Check out the museum's website for more information about the museum. | |

During previous school years we have taken several exciting fieldtrips to places such as: The Sam Houston Schoolhouse in Maryville, TN.

Other fieldtrips have included; Ijams Nature Center, Parrot Mountain, Corn Maze, WonderWorks, and many more. We are currently looking for Field Trip Coordinators to help plan more fun events. If you would like to help coordinate field trips in your area, contact Jason. We are currently booking field trips for the 2010-2011 school year. If you have a suggestion for a trip, or have visited somewhere and think it would benefit others, let us know! |
